Why Tallow?
We started using beef tallow because we wanted skincare to be simple and straightforward.
Tallow has a long history of use in traditional skincare and works well as a rich moisturizer. At Homestead Tallow, we carefully render beef tallow and blend it with a small amount of botanical oils to create a smooth, whipped balm for everyday cosmetic use.
Depending on the scent, we may also add essential oils or botanical extracts. Every product page includes its ingredient list so you know what is in the jar.
Our balms are intended to moisturize and condition the skin. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition.
